Pilots Get Zilch in 5-0 Loss to Shamrocks, Ferguson Friday, September 28th , 2007 Boston hurler Justin Ferguson put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Atlanta Pilots with a 5-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Atlanta manager Andrew Scharbach told reporters after the game. Ferguson has made 18 starts, tossed 95 innings, struck out 77 batters and walked 27. His record is 2-9 with a 5.40 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .296 batting average.
