Roberts Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 24 Sunday, August 19th , 2007 Chris Roberts of the Los Angeles Knights came up empty at the plate and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 24 games. Making matters even worse for the right fielder, Los Angeles dropped the game to the Philadelphia Keystones, 2-1. "It was not a good day today," Roberts told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." This year, Roberts has collected a .281 batting average to date with 62 hits in 221 at-bats, 23 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 33 times.
