Las Vegas, Dallas Swap Players Saturday, August 11th , 2007 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Aces announced today the acquisition of 18-year old minor league RHP John McClinton from the Dallas Texans in exchange for 31-year old C Mark Buchholz and 16-year old minor league LHP Ruben de la Garza. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Aces, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Looking at his season stats, Buchholz has compiled a .224 batting average and a .318 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 15 runs. |
