Top WC Reliever Honored Monday, October 22nd , 2007 Jake Moore now has a big bargaining chip as he potentially heads towards free agency - he is the winner of the 2007 Western Circuit Reliever of the Year Award. The Denver Cutthroats star turned in what he called the "year of my life," in winning the award. It included a 2.23 ERA through 72.2 innings and 45 relief appearances. He recorded 19 saves, 66 strikeouts and had only 17 walks. He compiled a record of 5-2, while limiting hitters to a .204 average. Jeremy Tomlinson of the Las Vegas Aces finished second in voting, while Brent Farwell of the St. Louis Lions finished third. |
