Clous Picked Best WC Pitcher Monday, October 22nd , 2007 Ron Clous walked away with the top pitching honors in the Western Circuit this year. The San Francisco Peanuts starter was named the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2007 earlier today. This outstanding 28-year-old hurler fashioned a fine 11-2 won-lost record in 22 starts. He threw 164.1 innings, giving up 91 hits and 54 walks and holding opponents to a .161 average. Clous struck out 237 and posted a 1.53 ERA. Joe Levensailor of the Dallas Texans finished second in voting, while Brad Kuhlman of the San Francisco Peanuts finished third. |
