Salazar, Rollers Wallop Empires in Game 4 of DS
|
The Las Vegas Rollers and the Southern California Empires will take the Division Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Rollers beat the Empires, 6-2, at Vegas Stadium to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Las Vegas center fielder Eddie Salazar was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Daniel Adams, the Las Vegas third baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the first inning to make the score 3-0, Rollers. For the game, Adams was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Adams said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Empires Stadium in San Bernardino.
