Allentown Takes Division Series in Deciding Game
|
After their 8-1 win today at Quebec City Grounds over the Quebec City Admirals, the Allentown Fleetwings will advance to the Division Championship Series. Allentown won the series by a 3-2 margin.
Leading the way for the Fleetwings was left fielder Adam Falco, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.
"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."
The Allentown Fleetwings will play against the Newark Eagles in the next round. Newark won their series against the Ottawa Capitals 3 games to 1. The Division Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
