Riding the 4-hit performance of the 23-year old shortstop Dewey Duggan, the Denver Cutthroats stopped the Las Vegas Aces, 3-0. Manny Orellana was credited with the save, his 2nd in 2 tries. Denver goes to 57-31. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.

The Cutthroats got a big at-bat from first baseman Matthew Hinton. For the game, Hinton was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Denver a 1-0 lead.
