Tampa Bay Rallies for 6-2 Victory
Tampa Bay pitcher Ron Ingram did his part in helping his team defeat the New York City Blues, 6-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The triumph puts Tampa Bay at 55-32 for the season.

Mark Light drove in 2 runs for Tampa Bay. The 28-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jason Davis. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.

"Ron was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Tampa Bay manager Dick Granade.
