McKee Helps Winnipeg Cruise to 12-3 Win
Spirited fans greeted the Mexico City Aztecas for their clash with the Winnipeg Buffaloes.

The Winnipeg Buffaloes had no problem beating the Mexico City Aztecas, 12-3, at Estadio Azteca. Josh McKee, who finished 5th in the SPBC in slugging percentage with .546 in 2004, led the onslaught. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Winnipeg. With the win, the Buffaloes have a record of 36-28.

With Winnipeg leading 1-0 in the top of the second, McKee hit a 2-run single off Mexico City hurler Jim Feldman. It was the 66th hit of the season for McKee and put his team ahead, 3-0.

Mexico City manager Zack Englund said: "We'll put this one in the trash can and get ready for the next game."
