Saskatoon Gets 3-1 Win Behind Lefty Jacobs
|
The Saskatoon Moose banked on Ronnie Jacobs and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Newark hitters in check. The final score was 3-1, Moose. Newark has now lost 4 straight.
Jacobs was the winner. He's now 7-3, after putting the Newark offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up 1 run on 4 hits, while racking up 8 Ks.
