|
Detroit right fielder Drew Brooks had a good game, even if his team did not. The Chargers dropped a 6-4 decision to Southern California at Empires Stadium. Brooks went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 3 walks. He drove in 2 runs. Allberto Menagem picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-1. He struck out 4 in 6 innings. The Chargers, now 13-25, have lost 4 straight.
