Capitals Rally Late to Clip Allentown
In a low-scoring affair between the Ottawa Capitals and the Allentown Fleetwings, pitcher Pete Block was the difference between victory and defeat. The Ottawa right-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-1 Capitals win. Chris Kaplan picked up the save for Ottawa, his 4th of the year. With the victory, the Capitals upped their record to 15-10.

Ottawa used the hitting of David Lewis to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Capitals on top, 2-1. For the game, Lewis had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"I was hoping to make good contact," said Lewis. "I wasn't trying to knock the snot out of it."
