The Vacaville Steelheads downed the Mexico City Aztecas, 7-4, at Estadio Azteca. The Steelheads were led by Josh Glaser. Glaser went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Josh Bartell earned the save, his 1st, for the Steelheads. The 'W' lifts Vacaville's record to 14-9.

Vacaville catcher Chris Pennington contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 7th hit of the season and put the Steelheads ahead, 5-2.

Pennington told a Vacaville Daily reporter that he was "very pleased" with the win.
