Waggoner Breezes to Shutout Victory
|
Newark Eagles right-hander David Waggoner used his full arsenal to shoot down the Quebec City Admirals, 5-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 3 walks and striking out 13. Waggoner allowed 4 hits in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Quebec City was on a way, way different page," Waggoner said.
This season, Waggoner has fanned 67 in 48.1 innings and collected a 3-2 record with a 3.17 ERA.
