Getting offensive support from Vitaliano Brancati, the Mexico City Aztecas topped the Vacaville Steelheads, 8-4. Brancati went 2-3 with a home run and a walk for the Aztecas. Mexico City pitcher Nick Wilder got the win. He's now 2-1. Scott Lovely was tagged with the loss. David Martin earned his 5th save, after closing out the game.

Jim Bunney contributed to the Mexico City win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Bunney. "And not try to do too much."

The 5th-place Aztecas are now 10-12, the Steelheads 13-9.
