Los Angeles and Chicago duked it out and the Knights came out victorious.

The Los Angeles Knights defeated the Chicago Blackhawks, 7-5, at Trident Field. Los Angeles left fielder Jared Blodgett had a superb performance. He was 4 for 4 with 3 doubles and a walk. Los Angeles reliever Andres Quintana snagged the win, upping his record to 3-2. John Maguire shouldered the loss. David Gandarilla was credited with the save for Los Angeles, his 3rd of the season.

Los Angeles used a timely hit from Edwin Smit to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Knights ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Blodgett.

Los Angeles, with the win, is 15-29.
