Miyake Clubs 2 Home Runs in 7-5 Tampa Bay Win
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Kengo Miyake, the Tampa Bay Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Knights, 7-5. Miyake was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Thunder. Mike Meloche sewed up the save, his 11th. The first-place Thunder have a one-game lead in their division.

Miyake had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 3-0 fastball from Andrew Schumacher, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Thunder a 5-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Miyake.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Miyake.
