Lions Bang Out 11-4 Win Versus Boston
|
The St. Louis Lions and Boston Shamrocks completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Due in large part to second baseman Ricky Sori, the St. Louis Lions sunk the Boston Shamrocks, 11-4. Sori was 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Paul Easterling was the winner. He's now 3-1. The loser was fan favorite Etienne Larini.
Catcher Byron Schroder made an impact for St. Louis, when he swatted a 2-run double off Etienne Larini in the bottom of the first. For the contest, Schroder went 1 for 1 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Sori told the St. Louis Today. "It's as simple as that."
The Lions have an impressive 21-11 record.
