Blackhawks Win at Salt Lake City, 5-4
The Chicago Blackhawks racked up a win at Alpines Park, bumping off the Salt Lake City Coyotes, 5-4. Jared Booth, who started for Chicago, pitched effectively for his team. Jared Crocker got the save, the 1st for him this season. The win for the Blackhawks raised their record to 17-13.

Chicago used the timely hitting of Howie Park to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blackhawks on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Park said.
