Warriors Walk It Off for 14th Win of Season
The Washington Warriors picked up a win at Warriors Park, topping the Chicago Blackhawks, 7-3. On the mound for Washington was right-hander Jon Lund. He played a principal role in the triumph. Washington raised its record to 14-11 with the win.

Washington got a game-changing hit from Mickey White. The shortstop blasted a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Lund said.
