The winning streak continued for Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay parlayed a decent outing from starter Steve Aubin into a solid win over the Boston Shamrocks. The final score was 6-5. Aubin picked up the win for Tampa Bay, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1.

Eric Baker had a big run-scoring double for the Thunder in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Tampa Bay leading 5-2 and a runner on 3rd, he got a curveball from Harry Parker, who finished 4th in the EC in saves with 9 last year, and swatted a double to left. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thunder ahead, 6-2.

"Piling up wins will eventually take us to the promised land," said Aubin.

The Thunder, at 16-6, have now won 8 straight.
