The Denver Cutthroats topped the Los Angeles Knights by a score of 5-4. Leading the way was left fielder Tom Smolar. Smolar was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Cutthroats. Denver pitcher Trevor Busenbark got the win. He's now 3-1. Matt Shropshire was tagged with the loss.
