Sakal Fans 15 Grays Sunday, August 27th , 2006 Manchester Monarchs starter Max Sakal brought his best stuff to Manchester Park against the Providence Grays, striking out 15 batters in his club's 9-3 victory. In a strong performance, the 21-year-old Sakal gave up 7 hits in his 8.1 innings of work and issued no walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
