Stars Bob Riggs Down and Out for Year Monday, August 7th , 2006 Doctors in Arlington said Bob Riggs might not play anymore this year. The Stars starting pitcher suffered a ruptured disc during a game against the Manchester Monarchs and will be out for at least 7 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. To this point in the season Riggs has 2 wins and 3 losses and a 3.38 ERA. |
