Jeff Greaves Lost for Season Tuesday, July 25th , 2006 Jeff Greaves has to call it a season. The Brooklyn Atlantics starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Albuquerque Coyotes and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Greaves was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months. Currently Greaves has a record of 0-3 with 32 strikeouts and 11 walks in 20.2 innings and a 7.40 ERA. |
