Reilly Goes Yard 3 Times Thursday, June 8th , 2006 Trevor Reilly went yard three times in a Tulsa Twisters victory over the Arlington Stars at Tulsa Park. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Tulsa first baseman went 3-for-5 against Arlington with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Twisters to the 5-4 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Trevor Reilly hit a solo-shot off Josh Rabalais in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Josh Rabalais in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off John Koger in the 9th. |
