SP Hafer Signs $1,500,000 Deal with Boston Thursday, December 28th , 2006 Veteran starting pitcher Nick Hafer put the finishing touches on a deal with the Shamrocks today, agreeing to a $1,500,000, 2-year pact. Fans were generally receptive to the deal. During his career, the 36-year-old Hafer has piled up 927.1 innings. Over that time, he has fanned 883 batters, walked 263 and put up a 3.28 ERA. His lifetime won-lost mark is 53-39 and opposing clubs have hit .244 against him. |
