Byrd's Album Flops Sunday, December 10th , 2006 Jesse Byrd should evidently stick to baseball. The 28-year-old member of the Tampa Bay Thunder recently released a self-titled jazz album, but it's not going over well in the world of music. The album is getting panned by music critics and sales are reportedly dismal. "This isn't how I pictured this working out," Byrd said. "I'm still glad I did it, but it's a pretty bad feeling to put yourself out there and get this kind of feedback." Byrd said at this point, you can consider his music career over. "I'll just perform in my shower, but that's about it," he said. |
