Veteran LF Taylor, Denver Reportedly in Talks Monday, November 27th , 2006 Zack Taylor sent shock waves through the press corps when he spoke complimentarily of the Cutthroats this afternoon. Saying that the team "takes care of its players," Taylor dropped the bombshell that he could see himself playing in a Cutthroats uniform and that if he were offered a good deal, he would have to really think about it before turning it down. A check of his lifetime stats shows Taylor has a career .295 average with 569 hits, 116 doubles, 10 triples, 124 home runs and 344 RBIs. To date he has scored 326 runs, walked 304 times and stolen 19 bases. |
