Moore Grabs WC Reliever of the Year Award Saturday, October 28th , 2006 Jake Moore came out of the bullpen and worked through tough situations all year, and for his performance he's been named the recipient of the Western Circuit Reliever of the Year Award for 2006. The 27-year-old out of Cleveland, Ohio captured the award with 17 saves in 40 relief appearances, 67 strikeouts in 71 innings and a record of no wins and 3 losses to go with his 1.77 ERA. "I'm thankful, it's a great honor," he told Baseball News Network. Trevor Busenbark of the Denver Cutthroats finished second in voting, while Phil Knobbe of the Los Angeles Knights finished third. |
