Clous Voted WC Pitcher of the Year Award Saturday, October 28th , 2006 The votes are in for the 2006 Western Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award. It has been bestowed on Ron Clous of the San Francisco Peanuts. The 27-year-old Peanuts ace finished the year with a 10-6 mark, logged 22 starts, threw 140.1 innings, yielded 84 hits, struck out 214 and held the opposition to a .169 batting average. Kevin Williams of the St. Louis Lions finished second in voting, while Jay Williams of the Los Angeles Knights finished third. |
