Warriors Beat Cutthroats in Pro Circuit Cup Thursday, October 26th , 2006 The Washington Warriors pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Pro Circuit Cup in a hard-fought series with the Denver Cutthroats. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 2-0 victory at Cutter's Cove, Washington lay claim to the franchise's 1st championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Jeremy Hopkins. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 58-30 and claimed first place in the Eastern Circuit. A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Washington in the days to come.
