The Math Says - Thunder Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 28th , 2006 The Tampa Bay Thunder will have a "long time to dwell" on this season's failure to get into the postseason, according to starting pitcher Dave Miller. Still in the chase in the season's final days, the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention earlier today. This is the 5th time in a row that the Thunder have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2001.Tampa Bay last won the Pro Circuit Cup in 2001. |
