Blues 5-2 Victors Over Keystones

Blues Field was the site for Eastern Circuit action featuring the Philadelphia Keystones and New York City Blues.
New York City turned a good performance from starting pitcher Earl Dunbar into a 5-2 triumph over the Philadelphia Keystones at Blues Field. Dunbar, now 5-8, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs.
Bert Collier, who is tied for 7th in the EC in bases on balls with 34, helped out the New York City cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"I take a professional approach to my job," said Dunbar. "I've been around this game for a while."
New York City is now 30-31, Philadelphia 29-32.
