Sales Brings A-Game, Blues Beat Shamrocks
|
In a well-pitched game between the New York City Blues and the Boston Shamrocks, pitcher Aaron Sales was fantastic. The New York City right-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-0. The Blues raised their record to 45-37.
Sales gave New York City an exquisite performance. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings.
"The old adage is true," said Sales. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
