The New York City Blues did just enough to sneak past the Dallas Texans, 4-3, at Blues Field. New York City pitcher Josh Columbus, in particular, had a standout performance. Scott Daniels recorded the save, his 4th. The victory gives New York City a record of 26-26.

Bryan Bassett came through for New York City with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Bassett told the New York City Herald.
