Hoelzer Now 3-6 After Subduing Thunder
Zach Hoelzer, who finished 2nd in the EC in ERA with 2.53 last year, never let the Thunder get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Texans to a win, 3-1. Jason Davis closed it out for his 3rd save. The last-place Texans hiked their record to 19-25.

Hoelzer allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings for the Texans. He walked 2 and struck out 8.
