Aces Deal Keystones 3-1 Defeat
|
In a tight tilt between the Las Vegas Aces and the Philadelphia Keystones, Chris Alcaro was the deciding factor. The Las Vegas left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Alcaro, the winner, moves to 4-3. He threw 7.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 6 walks. Tony Sunderman finished the game for Las Vegas and earned his 1st save.
Todd Ingalls, who is tied for 6th in the WC in bases on balls with 29, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ingalls contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Las Vegas up, 2-0.
In postgame comments to the Las Vegas Chronicle, Ingalls said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
At 20-24, Las Vegas is in 5th place in the Western Circuit.
