Maguire Now 6-4 After Beating Peanuts
The home crowd had a good time watching the San Francisco Peanuts and Boston Shamrocks get after it.

The Boston Shamrocks picked up a win at Shamrock Grounds, knocking off the San Francisco Peanuts, 5-0. Starting pitcher John Maguire was a big reason why. Boston now sits at 21-22, while San Francisco falls to 28-15.

Maguire imposed his will on the Peanuts, scattering 5 hits over 7.2 innings while striking out 8. The right-hander upped his season record to 6-4.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Boston manager Frank Guinness.
