No matter what the Brooklyn Atlantics threw at him, David Serna hit it. He easily handled Atlantics pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Liberty triumph, 12-2, at Atlantics Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Serna's quip, Atlantics skipper Jimmy Brown said he "would take him up on that next time."

David Serna hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off De-shi Pai in the 9th.

Serna is currently batting .333 with 1 home run and 8 RBIs.
