The New York City Blues beat the Los Angeles Knights, 5-4, at Camelot. Bryan Bassett, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Earning his 6th save for New York City was Diego Rodriquez. The Blues improved their record to 15-16 by beating Los Angeles.

With New York City leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Bassett hit a fastball from Andrew Schumacher for a run-scoring double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Blues ahead, 2-0.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Bassett, "one at-bat at a time."
