ABC Outstanding Skipper Award Given to Stucker Saturday, October 22nd , 2005 Club officials have reported seeing Geoff Stucker at the ballpark as early as 7 am. His dedication, coupled with a shrewd management style and a knack for knowing "who's hot and who's not" earned Stucker the Amateur Baseball Circuit Manager of the Year Award for 2005. "I guess you could say I pushed all the right buttons at the right time for the Amateurs to have the season we did. But keep in mind, too, that I also had a group of dedicated ballplayers who played their hearts out. I thank them for winning this award for me." There was much joy in Las Vegas this season. Their beloved Amateurs took first place in the West Division, rounding out the year with a 56-32 record. |
