Albuquerque's Aguilar Snaps Up September Batting Award Saturday, October 1st , 2005 Greg Aguilar put together a good September to earn the Amateur Baseball Circuit Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Albuquerque officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Coyotes left fielder posted a .417 batting average with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Presently Aguilar is batting .308 with 3 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has played in 60 games and scored 37 times. |
