Rico Smacks 5 Hits for Gnomes Wednesday, September 28th , 2005 5 times is the charm -- at least for Bobby Rico. The Yuma Gnomes second baseman tore up the Dallas Bulls to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Dallas Park today. The offensive onslaught from Rico powered the Gnomes to a 4-3 win. "Rico was a tough out today," Dallas manager Rodolfo Ramirez said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Bobby Rico singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jason Gray in the 5th, struck out in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
