Gnomes Stoll to Miss Year Monday, September 19th , 2005 The season is finished for Tyler Stoll of the Yuma Gnomes. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Gnomes reliever suffered a ruptured finger tendon while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Albuquerque Coyotes. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. So far this season, Stoll has compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark with no saves and a 3.86 ERA. In 16.1 innings he has fanned 17 and opponents are hitting him at a .286 clip. |
