Great Stroke: Broussard Gets 5 Hits Sunday, September 11th , 2005 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Las Vegas's Eric Broussard made it happen today against the Coyotes. Everything came together at the plate for the 30-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Amateurs to a 12-4 win at Coyote Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Broussard said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Eric Broussard singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
