Providence Loses Ruben Herrera for Season Monday, August 29th , 2005 When Providence starting pitcher Ruben Herrera was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Grays-Titans game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Herrera had sustained a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for about 14 months. In 16 starts this season Herrera has fashioned a 7-5 record and a 4.70 ERA. |
