Bourg Shuts Down Gnomes, 1-0 Saturday, August 27th , 2005 Mike Bourg of Salt Lake City easily handled the Yuma Gnomes, stopping them on 3 hits and chucking a complete-game 1-0 shutout. "He really did a job on us," said Yuma manager Tom Meinershagen. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us." He finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 4 walks in a solid outing.
