Frederick Wins ABC Player of the Week Monday, August 8th , 2005 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Amateur Baseball Circuit. The award went to Jeremy Frederick, third baseman of the Salt Lake City Amateurs. He dominated league pitchers with a .450 average to win the honor. Frederick went 9-for-20 for the week, totaled 4 home runs with 8 RBIs and scored 6 times. This year Frederick has socked 54 hits in 169 at-bats for a .320 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .361 pace and his totals also include 30 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
